Let us brush up our English
  • Those who are participating from the Ashikaga High School need to complete their personal self-introduction by the end of the June 25, 2005 Trying to introduce yourself  to American and other Asian friends in itself will teach you how much you know about yourself and Japan.
  • Take your own pictures, or use old family pictures, to show how you live your everyday life in Japan. Combine them with your narratives so your new friends can really feel what life is like in Japan. If you need advice and suggestions, email Mr. Okamoto at OIARI.

  • Upon completion of the uploading of your photo stories,  you will exchange e-mails and hold live video conferences with your American friends to ask, answer questions and discuss what the joint summer and post-summer project is going to be.

  • The initial English version uploaded will reflect the participating students' own translation work without teachers' corrections. They are going to ask their U.S. counterparts to help them make improvements as part of the exchange program.
