Industry Application
Example 8
Working on seeds, water and soil improvement (various parts of Japan):
1) We use our ITA technology
for processing rice seeds, ITC for the water of the rice paddies, and
have been successful in the prevention of various diseases, the
development of the rice plant's ability to withstand extreme cold
weather and hot dry seasons in addition to growing rice without
chemical fertilizers or insecticides. And all this in addition to the
crop increase and higher quality rice.
2) We also process both the
seed potatoes and sweet potatoes in addition to administering soil
improvement, achieving similar positive results.
3) With the same process for
the open-air growth of tomatoe, cucumber, eggplant, Chinese celery,
cabbage, etc., we have achieved similar improvements. In addition of
course, we have considerably extended their shelf life.
4) Also with the open-air
growth of various fruits such as straw berry, water melon, peach and
grape, similar experiments have produced successful results.
5) With the same process for
the greenhouse production of straw berry, melon, flowers and other
greens, we produced similar results creating for them a specially noted
market repuetation for larger size and better flavor.
TLSL Comments:
(1) Given the high reputation
of these quality products raised without chemicals, there have been no
instances of significant left-over inventories, and the market values
increased as much as several tens of percentage points, and in some
cases more thaqn twice the going market prices. In the case of rice,
the production per acre increased from 20 to 100%, and 20 to 30% for
potatoes and sweet potatoes as it is also the case for vegegables.
(2) This is applicable to all
fields of agriculture anywhere in the world.
OIARI Comments:
In China, it has been the
tradition for farmers to use raw human excrements for farm crops
without fermentation process in open-air tanks dug out in the field. In
order to fight the harmful bacteria infestation arising from this
practice, more chemicals have been used by farmers in recent years
further damaging the soil, which in turn gives rise to the need to use
more chemical fertilizers. This vicious cycle can be stopped by
processing both the soil and the manure using our ITA and ITC
technologies.
