Industry Application Example 1

A Major Car Manufacturer's Parts Plant (Aichi Prefecture):

The surface treatment to prevent corrosion of iron and steel parts and components, a process commonly called "Kurozome" in Japanese, leaves much NO3-N in the waste water. While the predominant method of combatting this pollution is to treat the water with micor-organisms, this method generally achieves the NO3-N removal ratio of around 80%. In contrast to this, our ITA with the information stored in it especially designed to activate micor-organisms has achieved an impressively high NO3-N romoval ratio of 98%. It alsoproved helpful in keeping the micro-organisms active on the day immediately after Sundays and Holidays when they are known to often remain alarmingly inactive.

TLSL Comments:

(1) At present, we are building a new project for a more reliable water circulation in the electro-plating plant of the same auto manufacturer.
(2) In addition to the disposition of organic pollution of water used by the industry, our technology has a much wider area of application including industrial sludge clean-up and disposition.

OIARI Comments:

In addition to the above, IT-TEC technology can also effectively address the problem of toxic ioinized heavy metal elements in the industrial waste water. The patented ITA and ITC can be prepared to address a divergent set of pollutants peculiar to specific industries such as those in the paper and pulp production and metal fabrication.
