                                                             - to the Japanese version -

To the friends and associates of the PARAP group:

During the 21st century, there will be a fundamental change both in the social as well as the natural sciences in order to rectify the growingly more obvious shortcomings and the glaring lack of cross-cultural relevance, or the remaining intellectual framework of Euro-centricism.
Even those who proved the rotation of the earth around the sun are obviously Euro-centered thinkers. In this respect, the rising stars of the modern social science like Adam Smith and Karl Marks did have the same limitations.

It is in this sense and in this context that I would like to open up a new forum on the Internet. Though the following forums are called "history" forums, what really lies behind the so-called "History Issues" of East Asia is the one and the same problem of how the East will now try to overcome this inter-civilizational disparities in the globalizing intellectual world.

Do join the forum and express your ideas and thoughts.
